During conflict, the parties are not able to reach to an agreement. So, a third party steps in to resolve the conflict and help the conflicting parties reach to a mutual agreement. The third party can also be called as mediator.
International Mediator is known as a voluntary form of medium for conflict management, which is active in international relations. In other terms, International Mediation can also be defined as a comprehensive compromise. They also play an important role for ending the dispute or propose alternatives to resolve the same.

It is a scenario where more than one third parties come into picture to resolve a conflict. The examples are national government bodies, NGOs etc.
